How long is the rental period?

Return your movie by 9:00 p.m. the day after you rent it to stay within the initial rental period. If you want to keep the DVD longer you may, no problem. For each additional night you keep your DVD rentals, you will be charged for an additional rental period plus any applicable tax.

What will happen if I lose the movie?

If you lose a movie, after the 10th day after the initial DVD rental date, you will be charged the total extra days rental amounts due for the rental term, plus applicable fees, and the rental item shall be considered purchased by you, at which time the item can no longer be returned.

What if the kiosk is out of service?

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact our customer service representative at 480-565-6203 and we will be sure that your movie is returned and your account is adjusted.

What if my kiosk won't allow me to return my movie?

If you are unable to return the DVD, please contact customer service at 480-656-6203. Please note, your DVD cannot be returned to any PressPlay kiosk.

Will I be charged when I rent the movie online, or when I pick it up?

Your card is pre-authorized when you rent online (you may see a "pending" charge on your online credit card statement at this time). When you pick up your DVD rental, or when the rental expires, the pre-authorization is converted to an actual charge on your card and will be debited.

What happens if I don't pick up my DVD?

If you don't pick up your DVD rental before 7 p.m. the day following your online rental transaction, your debit or credit card will be charged for the amount of the rental for one rental period.

Can someone else rent my DVD before I pick it up?

No, if you have received your confirmation email your DVD rental selection will be reserved for you until it expires at 9:00 pm the day following your rental transaction.

Can I enter my promo code online?

Yes!

How do I get my receipt?

We email receipts to our customers who add their email address at the kiosk. You may want to make add PressPlay to your email address book to ensure our emails do not end up in spam filters.

Can children under the age of 17 rent R-rated movies?

No. We require that our customers validate their age while renting any movies that are rated R at our kiosks.
